But we ask you to inspire measured debate instead

What happens when we challenge the leaders of the international space community to break the barriers between mainstream society and the space community?

This is a call to arms for passionate and articulate experts to start typing, and for curious people to hit the follow button!

We’re on the hunt for space-related opinion editorials (op-eds) to stimulate new discussion around unusual space topics. If you have an idea for a 2–6 minute article that can burst through the echo chamber of the space community, we want to hear from you!

The only requirements for authors are that you need to be an articulate author of an engaging, accurate and rational piece; it must be written for a general audience; and we will reject articles that too closely resemble advertisements.

If these kinds of questions pique your interest, you’re in luck:

  • Did you know there’s such a thing as space law and it’s actually as interesting as it sounds?
  • What are the experts saying about the impacts of asteroid mining on the space environment?
  • Do we really need 200 rocket launch companies, and what will the launch industry look like in 5 years?
  • Why should we spend money on growing the space economy when there are so many issues to solve here on Earth?

Also, you can join the discussion!

Each post will be shared on Moonshot Nexus to give everyone the opportunity to share their own thoughts.
